Okay lots to chat about-- have you read Baby X?! I'm increasingly more interested in the sci-fi genre too. I still need to read land of Milk and Honey!

Yes I'm wondering the same thing about the Gen A hauls and environmental impact-- how does one straddle both?

And finally, yes to country music women! When I was in 5th grade I was a diehard LeAnn Rimes fan and I like to tell anyone who will listen about how I woke up mega early to wait in line at the box office for concert tix (as one used to do) and also scored meet N greet passes via her fan club. When I met her I was sobbing. She sent her manager to retrieve us (my mom and 2 girlfriends) and invited us on an exclusive tour of her tour bus!! She was so cool! And also basically my same age 😂

I have not read Baby X- I hadn't heard of it but just looked it up and it sounds really interesting! Land of Milk and Honey is a very strange read from a prose perspective (and in general, tbh) but sooo worth it once you get used to it. Let me know what you think!

I listened to Casey Lewis's after school podcast and in the first ep she does interview a Gen A girly who talks about the hauls. I feel like they're at least more conscious about thrifting and buying more premium/less fast fashion when they can!

And yessss LeAnn Rimes! What a cool story omg, so jealous - my dad went to high school with Jo Dee Messina and I still haven't gotten to meet her. But I did once sing Shania's part of From This Moment On with Bryan White at a random venue in Georgia after he called me up onstage. Loveeeee me some country ladies
