That food in fashion and advertising article is sooo on point. I literally saw a TikTok of a girl opening a necklace she bought whose packaging mimicked a tinned fish can (the necklace itself was made of recycled materials and had two fish shaped beads on a wire chain). Like so many layers of marketing and use of food/sustainability aesthetics happening there!
It's soooo interesting! Honestly that necklace sounds super cute too. I do feel like it's encouraging me to have more fun with my fashion and in general - I'm more of a solids / no prints, neutral colors girl but lately I've been leaning into the kitschier food + colorful items and it's doing something good for my brain. I think we all need to have more fun!
Ahhh YES you must go!! I can’t say enough good things. My friend got the truffle corn ravioli and it was SO GOOD. Plus the tartare and the dessert - it’s really all delicious. Let me know what you think!
I looove Cafe Cluny. One of my greatest pleasures is sitting at the bar with a book whenever I'm in the city.
Also the cigarette/ozempic/thinness connection is fascinating. The state of how we talk about weight and bodies right now depresses me endlessly. The pursuit of thinness at any cost has always been rewarded in this world, of course, but it feels harder than ever (to me, anyway) to just accept yourself as is.
There’s literally nothing I love more than a solo date with a book!
I also thought that correlation was so interesting. The “thin is in” mentality touches every single aspect of our lives in ways we can’t even comprehend. It’s a sad reality. Completely agree that it’s feeling especially bleak right now, but body diversity will always exist whether people like it or not, so I will always be a champion for the community! Wish more people (and brands) could get on board though.
Comedy shows are actually my fave hahaha Hacks is really good, I also loved the final twist. And The Other Two... that is probably one of the funniest shows I've ever seen in my life, it was hilarious, too bad it ended :(
Haven't seen Criminal Minds Evolution but I was a huge fan of the original too!
I personally tend to like shows with a darker edge and comedy often just doesn’t hold my attention! I’ve been telling everyone about The Other Two though- it’s one of the few things I actually find laugh out loud funny.
And OMG you must watch the new criminal minds!!! it’s honestly really great. I miss some of the characters but they really managed to get almost everyone on board.

Wowww I love this spread! I can’t wait to read that food in advertising and fashion article, and I’ve saved the Boursin Salmon recipe 😍
Yay!! 🫶🏻🥹 you’ll have to let me know what you think about both. I’m literally making the salmon again today, it’s soooo good.
Need that martini like I need air. Going asap!!!!
